http://www.english.hadhramaut.info Industry minister meets UK official [The Source: SANA'A/ hadhramaut.info/sabanews.net - 23/06/2010] Minister of Industry and Trade Yahya al-Mutawakel held talks on Wednesday with the British Secretary of State at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office Alistair Burt who is currently visiting Yemen. The talks dealt with cooperation relations between the two countries in the investment and commercial fields and means of developing them to serve common interests of the two peoples.They reviewed the progress achieved by Yemen in developing investment environment through the reforms program.Al-Mutawakel hailed development of the Yemeni-British relations in different fields, mentioning the British support to enhance development capacity in Yemen.On the other hand, a meeting was held headed by al- Mutawakel and attended by the UK official and representatives of private sector in Yemen.The meeting reviewed the role played by the private sector in leading development process in Yemen and the governmental efforts to develop this role.
