This came during a meeting gathered Yemen's ambassador to Tokyo Marwan Noman and the Japanese minister, who valued Yemen's efforts in combating terrorism and confirmed Japan's readiness to partake in the Ministerial meeting of Yemen Friends , to be held in next September.The Japanese minister welcomed the expected visit of Foreign Minister Abu Bakr al-Qirbi to Japan in autumn of this year, which would enhance the cooperation between the two friendly countries.Noman voiced the Yemeni government's appreciation for the Japanese support to Yemen in capacity-building of Yemeni coastguard so as to qualify them to contribute to combating piracy and terrorism.He stressed the importance of the continuous Japanese support to finance the strategic projects in energy areas.On another hand, Deputy Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry of Japan affirmed his country's readiness to study the possibility of financing clean energy projects in Yemen though its line to address the climate and global warming.During his meeting with the Yemeni ambassador, the Japanese official praised Yemen's cooperation with the international community in maintaining security and stability in the region and the world.Furthermore, the Yemeni ambassador called on the Japanese investors to invest in Yemen, especially in oil and energy areas, inviting the Japanese official to visit Yemen to get acquainted with the investment opportunities in the different fields.
