The cabinet directed the two Ministers of Legal Affaires and Public Health to finalize the required legal procedures.The strategy depends on analyzing the current health situation on the light of political, economic and social issues, the national health system via primary and secondary health care, medicine, medical technology, health information system and health sector infrastructure.It aims to realize a better health level for all Yemenis in cooperation with other sectors at the central and local levels through providing health care services for all.The strategy seeks to reduce the mortality rates in all population groups and focuses on decreasing the mortality of maternal, neonatal, infant and child.It also targets to decline the spreading of infectious and chronic diseases, as well as promoting the national health system.The strategy also aims at improving the quality of preventive services, diagnostic, therapeutic and rehabilitation services in all health facilities, in addition to activating the coordination between the different health sectors and business partners.
