Shibam Hadhramout Society  won the  best prize out of 42 Civil Socities, institutions and 20 productive families  that participated. The prize totaling  three thousend dollars for the first winner was scooped by the shibam and  this being the first  festival to be held to market  the local handcrafts products  .
