The sixth joint annual review of the implementation of national strategies for the development of the public education is to begin on Tuesday at the Ministry of Education.

Minister of Education Abdul-Salam al-Jawfi told Saba that the annual review, attended by representatives of donor countries and organizations and civil society organizations, aims at assessing the level of implementation of the ministry annual plan for the past year and the polices and recommendations approved in the fifth annual review.

 It also aims to identify deficiencies in the planning and implementation of the annual plan for 2009 and to expand the base of participation in the evaluation of the Ministry's plans with the development partners in carrying out the annual plan of the ministry, al-Jawfi added.He pointed out that the participants would discuss the draft medium-term results and the fourth five-year plan 2011-2015 and suggest the policies and the future trends to help raising the level of efficiency and implementing the annual plan as well as activating the partnership between the ministry and development partners.Global Forum for
