http://www.english.hadhramaut.info Yemen to host conference on Darfur [The Source: sana'a/ hadhramaut.info/sabanews.net - 04/05/2010] The Arab Coalition for Darfur and the Social Democratic Forum organize on 5- 6 May in Yemen's capital of Sana'a the second conference of Arab parliamentarians for Darfur. It will focus on reinforcing the knowledge of Arab parliamentarians of the Darfur crisis and their role in setting out an action plan and proposals for drawing the approval of lawmakers to help bring the crisis to Arab parliaments.The meeting will be held at Haddah Hotel. Lawmakers from Sudan, Egypt, Jordan, Libya, Morocco, Mauritania, Bahrain, Yemen and Lebanon as well as other figures will take part.It will focus on reinforcing the knowledge of Arab parliamentarians of the Darfur crisis and their role in setting out an action plan and proposals for drawing the approval of parliamentarians to help bring the crisis to Arab parliaments.Moreover, the meeting will discuss other issues topped by analyzing the peace process and humanitarian situation in the region as well as issues related to the crisis to establish recommendations for and work to end it. The first conference was held last year in Egypt's capital of Cairo.The Arab Coalition for Darfur was established in 2008 by a number of Arab rights organizations amid the necessity for an active and solidarity Arab rights role.
