This came during the meeting that gathered Ban and Yemen's permanent representative to the United Nations Abdullah al-Saeedi in New York.Ban also said that Yemen plays an important role in preparing for the Group of 77 and China meeting that will be held in Mexico by the end of 2010.Yemen took the presidency of the group in late 2009.The UN Secretary General and Al-Saeedi also discussed cooperation between Yemen and United Nation, particularly in the developmental area, as well as ways of boosting it .
