Catching fish and marine biology from the Yemeni territorial waters in accordance with a  typical Convention signed with the Ministry of Fisheries.

Production capacity:

According to the agreement with the Ministry of Fisheries and the number of boats used to fish in the project.

Fishes and marine biology are available along the coastal line.

Manpower:

Manpower available and cheap and can bring expertise from abroad.

Proposed site:

Mukalla / Hadramout governorate.

Target site:

Local market and export.

Investment cost:

Depending on the number of boats used to fish in the project.


2-Ornamental fish

Objective of the project:

Ornamental fish catching is done according to the typical convention concluded with the Ministry of Fisheries.

Production capacity:

According to the agreement with the Ministry of Fisheries.

Sources of raw materials:

Ornamental fish are available along the coastal line.

Manpower:


Manpower available and cheap and can bring expertise from abroad.

Proposed site:

Hudaydah.

Target site:

Local market and export.

Investment cost:

The Estimated investment cost of the project is about half a million U.S . dollar.

3-Fish and marine biology cathing

Objective of the project:

The project aims at catching fish and marine biology in its various forms inclding: : the families of crustaceans - molluscs - Gristliness fish - turtles and others which are available abundently in the three various regions
.
Sources of raw materials:

Red Sea - the Gulf of Aden - the Arabian Sea - the island of Socotra.

Production capacity:

The production capacity Is determined within the typical conventions  between the investor and the  Ministry of Fisheries for each boat of catching .

Manpower:

Manpower available and cheap and can bring expertise from abroad.

Proposed site:

The following regions:

1-the coastal fishing  area beyond 4 nautical miles from the minimum ebb in the islands in the marine waters of the Gulf of Aden - the Arabian Sea - the island of Socotra.

2 - the industrial bottom fishing area outside the boundaries of eight nautical miles from a minimum ebb in  the islands in the Gulf of Aden - the Arabian Sea - the island of Socotra.

3 - the industrial surface and bottom fishing area in the special economic zone.
 
4 - Fishing in the Red Sea is confined to coastal fishing  beyond six nautical miles from the lowest ebb of  the islands only.

4-Aquaculture and mariculture
 
Objective of the project:

The project aims at raising fishes and marine biology, where the Yemeni coast topography is excellent which  helps to establish fish farms where there are  natural docks and  sites suitable for this activity.

Sources of raw materials:

Natural Sea-inlets of natural herbs are available which is considered a natural protection for small marine biology such as the Assyrians, mangrove trees in areas (al-lihiah - almakha - Fogom and Amran - Almjehdh -Albaidha AIgat Msainah Alsharqiah -Aigat Qashin - and many other areas along the Yemeni coastline).

Estimated in accordance with the possibilities available to the investor.

5-Preparation and freezing, packaging and export of fish and marine life

The project aims to develop and upgrade the services necessary to maintain the quality of fish and marine life to meet international standards and specifications.
