http://www.english.hadhramaut.info PM highlights GPU role [The Source: sana'a/hadhramaut.info/sabanews.net - 14/03/2010] Prime Minister Ali Mujawar highlighted on Sunday role of the Gulf Press Union (GPU) for enhancing Yemeni-Gulf ties, pointing out to efforts of the union to improve the profession of journalism in the member states. During his meeting with the Secretary General of the union Nasir al-Othmani, the prime minister discussed reality of the Gulf and Yemeni journalism and training in field of the press. Al-Othmani reviewed activities of the union and its services for Yemeni and Gulf journalism, especially in field of training in order to enhance skills of journalists in the region.He expressed readiness of the union to coordinate with relevant authorities over suggestions of the prime minister to double training programs for the Yemeni media persons.
