During a meeting attended by the UN Resident Coordinator in Yemen Pratibha Mehta and other organizations' representatives, Minister of Public Health and Population Abdul-Karim Rase'a said that the plan is to be made in coordination with Saada governor and UN Coordinator, particularly in the area of bringing health services back to the governorate.
Rase'a directed the Assistant Undersecretary of Health Ministry in charge of Saada IDPs affaires Omar Mujali to set up the plan and to arrange for a field visit to be paid by a team from the Ministry and UN organizations to the governorate.The visit aims to evaluate the required assistance that would reinstate way of living in the governorate as well as to return the IDPs to their homes as soon as possible.Speaking to Saba, the UN Coordinator hailed the decision of bringing Saada war to an end, pinning her hopes the ceasefire lasts.UN is to keep on providing aid for Saada IDPs in vital areas such as food, water, medicine and shelter as well as on returning those people to their homes, she added.
