http://www.english.hadhramaut.info transfering of qats markets out of Mukalla being discussed [The Source: mukalla/hadhramaut.info/sabanews.net - 09/02/2010]  Hadhamout National anti-khat committee discussed the procedures  to be taken for the transfer of  qat markets outside the city of Mukalla. The movement will ease the congestion  in the streets, facilitate the movement of citizens and to find alternative markets.  The steps to be taken according to the procedural  work of the Committee. During the  meeting, Hadhramaut Provimcial assistant Underseretary Mr.  Mohammed Saeed Bagutmi stressed on  importance of activating the outreach, extension and establishment of lectures in mosques, schools, universities and public places  about the  the hazards of khat and the damage caused to users of this treesocially and economically. The Committee also  heard a report, from the Department of Public Works and Roads in the Province to identify an  alternative place spaces for qat markets. The other issue discussed was finding a place to establish the Commission Headquarter, media plan and starting Committee newspapers bearing the name  (THE KILLER).
