In reply to the report that highlighted the situations in eastern and southern provinces, the ministry said the report contained baseless information, affirming it always deals with international reports transparently as it must care about human rights and the people's freedom.
The report was politically-motivated and obviously partial when it relied on groundless  information and fabricated photos published in opposition papers, the ministry said.
Moreover, the report did not specify  the sources of its information and just re-reported fabrications, the ministry added. It did not separate between the concepts of combating crime and lawbreaking when properties of the people were attacked by some outlaw elements.'The report did not take into account mandatory measures the government may use to impose the rule of the law and defend the constitution and the people and their rights.'It was not impartial, ignoring lawbreaking and subversion and focusing only on governmental measures, it said. The report's advice to donors not to give aid to Yemen was a clear call for a direct intervention in Yemen's own affairs and a clear incitement to deprive Yemen of international aid. Those who conducted the report should have investigated untrue stories of some people that made the report exaggerated and groundless. The report also contradicted itself regarding some facts such as those on the protests in the south, though it mentioned there were armed clashes between police and protesters.
