They discussed the brotherly relations and aspects of joint cooperation and ways of enhancing them in order to achieve  common interests of both countries and peoples. The two  also discussed Arab, Regional and International events that concerns the  interest to both countries and  Arab nations. His Excellency  president Saleh congratulated through telephone call   his brother, His Excellency the Egyptian President's of Egypt footbal team  victory over Ghana   during the African Nations Cup.
