It will contnue  for  four days under the banner (sexually transmitted diseases ... Epidemic of the Era). The conference  is organized by Hadhramaut  University of Science and Technology, Kheilat BugshanDevelopment Authority, Society for helping    outstanding students and Al-awn development  establihment in cooperation with WHO and the Ministry of Public Health and Population in our country .At the opening ceremony which was initiated by Verse from  the Holy Quran, after that  Hadhramout's governor  Mr.Salem Ahmed Al-Khanbashi welcomed the   participants to the conference in Hadhramaut, the cradle of science, culture and civilization, stressing that the local authority in the province support fully such Scientific  Confernces being held in  Hadhramaut  and also support the establishment of scientific research, that  address the pandemic of many diseases, including sexual and Epedemic of the Era, specifically AIDS Disease , which has become a threat to human life and society. He went on adding  that  Hadhramaut is proud to embrace such conferences, which contribute to the acceleration of the movement of scientific conservation and provide the latest in science and different  knowledge.  Thanking the efforts of WHO at regional level, localy .as well as   Honorary President of the Conference /Engineer Sheikh Abdullah Ahmed Bugshan for his  efforts in supporting  different sectors, in the province and the Conference Preparatory Committee for the hard work that had done  and their efforts in preparing for this great event Hadramout's Governor stressed on the need, that the conference comes out with  recommendations targeting  community awareness on  the dangers of the  sexually transmitted diseases and to work  on combating  AIDS. Asserting that ways on such will not  not succeed, but only using prevention and adhere to the teachings of our Islamic religion calls for chastity, virtue and renounce vice.Calling for the need to ahve proper and  accurate figures  in the statistics of those affected with AIDS. in our country and in Hadhramaut and  to establish a base of factual information in start addressing the HIV-AIDS and the reformulation of health information and to unify efforts and energies and create an environment for the injured to live with the disease and overcome the devastating effects on individuals and society. Dr. Mahmood Al-raobei Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health and population sector on her  side she said that the conference venue comes  as our country has achieved many successes in the fight against sexually transmitted diseases. this  including the establishment of five  locations to provide treatment services for patients and fourteen sites for giving  advices in addition to four sites for controlling the spread of AIDS to children, as well as training health workers on how te deal with aids.
