http://www.english.hadhramaut.info Yemen's imports of plant pesticides last year dropped to 461 tons [The Source: sana'a /hadhramaut.info/sabanews.net - 30/01/2010] General Director of Plant Protection in  Ministry of Agriculture and Irrigation, Engineer Abdullah Al-Sayani, said that Yemen's imports from plant  pesticide , dropped to 461 tonnes last year  compared to 1900 tons in 2006. Sayani was speaking today during  launching  campaign  for controlling  and snapping  inspections carried out by the General Directorate of Plant Protection. The inspection  targeted smuggled and counterfeit  pesticides ,that are available in a number of pesticides shops and stores within the of the capital.
