In an interview with Saba-run Alsyasiah Daily, the minister said there were no Yemen-U.S. anti-terror deals nor projects to be signed in this regard.' Yemen has its own short-term and long-terms schemes to tackle terrorists anywhere in the republic that only call for intelligence and information coordination with other countries including those located in the region, the U.S. and the European Union.'In reply to a question about further terror operations by the two countries in Yemen, he said doubtless there should be a joint effort to face the threat of al-Qaeda, a well organized group threatening not only Yemen or a specific region but the whole world. For years, Yemen has called for more intelligence cooperation and coordination with regional and international countries to disappoint the terrorist organization with all means as well as continuing rehabilitation of and advising misled terrorists.
