Hundreds killed, attacked as authorities say document rebel crimes in north

Saada governor Hasan Mana'a said that the Houhti terrorist groups have killed more than 500 people and kidnapped more that 485 others , most of them were old men and children, in various attacks since the fresh confrontations began in mid of August between the troops and the insurgents , almotamar.net reported on Monday.
Mana'a affirmed all killing incidents and Houthi crimes in the province including bombings, looting the people's properties and forcing the people to displace as well as attacking mosques, schools and roads.Meanwhile, the efforts by local authorities, civil society organizations and international aid agencies are continuing to help tens of thousands of refugees from the war in Saada and Harf Sufyan district in neighboring Amran province, he said.Aid convoys also continue to arrive at the refugee camps from other provinces in the republic sent by the people, local and international organizations and institutions.On the war developments, Mana'a said the Houthi insurgents are losing their strength and the army continued to advance on them at many warfronts killing, wounding and arresting dozens of them and taking rebel strongholds.Most recent operations have been coordinated with the public forces that announced full support to troops against terrorists.He also pointed to information about the death of the rebel leader Abdul Malik al-Houthi who many reports surfaced later he was killed and already buried.The rebels are now confused and semi-defeated that many of them have surrendered in recent weeks
