Two Houthi rebels arrested in Jawf

Security authorities in Jawf province have arrested two Houthi rebels, 20 - 25, Interior Ministry has reported.
The security authorities said that they have arrested 50 Houthi rebels in December, including a number of leaders.The security forces in Jawf have managed to capture eight Houthi loyalists last Monday, according to a security source in Jawf.The source told the military-run 26sep.net that the arrested include "Sultan Turki Kharasan", who is a leader in the al-Houthi gang along with seven others in al-Hazm area of Jawf province.Earlier, the rebel leader Ahmed Hamoud al-Qatwani, 33, has been killed and other Houthi followers injured while attempting to infiltrate to Jawf governorate, Eastern Sa'ada.Recently, many reports has affirmed the death of the rebel leaders Abdul-Malik al-Houthi, who was severely injured in an attack aimed at a gathering with a group of terrorist elements, according to the military-run 26sep.net.The army website added that there were reports that he had been buried in Jabal Tolan in the northern Malahidh area.The reports of the death of the rebellion's leader death and the troops' advancement at many war fronts have weakened the Houthi strength and resources.A military source affirmed the end of the rebellion is very close in Sa'ada governorate and Harf Sufyan of Amran governorate.The fresh confrontations, which started in mid August this year, come within a six-year-long war against the Houthi loyalists in Saada and Harf Sufyan district in neighboring Amran governorate.
