In his speech at the 2nd round of the Yemeni-UAE Joint Committee, wrapped up today, he noted that the current situations Yemen undergoes due to the rebellion in Saada require the needed support to preserve unity, security and stability, wishing the Yemeni people progress and welfare.For his part, Yemen Foreign Minister Abu Bakr al-Qirbi praised efforts of the Yemeni-UAE Joint Committee, affirming concern of Yemen to reinforce cooperation with the UAE in all fields and to increase investments."Yemen is facing a number of challenges at present topped by the economic side and is attempting to overcome them and reduce their negative impacts,'' he said.At the end of the round activities, the Yemeni and UAE sides signed 11 joint memoranda of understanding and executive programs in the fields of development, policy, trade and education.They also agreed to hold the 3rd round of the Committee in Sana'a in 2011.
