The seminar, attended by 52 participants from Civil Society Organizations (CSOs), teachers and Yemen Women Union (YWU), aimed to confirm the dangers of early marriage and the need to intensify the community's awareness of the negative effects and risks of the early marriage.Opening the seminar, Undersecretary of Hodeidah province Mohammed al-Fashiq noted the importance of CSOs' participation in creating the positive support, legal objection against the early marriage, affirming the necessity of activating the educational and cultural aspects in schools to introduce the negative effects arising from this marriage.In the seminar, a number of speeches delivered focusing on the role and duties of the CSOs and the participants in spread awareness of the early marriage risks amid the society, the rural areas and school students.
