Parliament is to resume sessions starting next Saturday for three weeks to discus several issues, with the budget for the fiscal year 2010 on top of the agenda.
According to the ministry of Finance the budget for the next year, that was presented to Parliament, was estimated at about $ 7.5 billion, down about $ 82926.829 from this year's budget.
Meanwhile, the government expected the incomes of the state budget will continue to decrease in 2011 and 2012.
On the other side, the budget expenditure was estimated to be at about $ 10 billion, with an increase of $ 49 billion from this year.
The local production reached this year about YR 5. 8 trillion, wit the government expecting its increase in the next year to YR 6.4 trillion; and it will continue to climb in the next two year.
Furthermore, the government expected the incomes of oil to increase in 2010 to almost $ 1.5 billion, compared to $ 1.053 billion in this year. But domestically, the oil sales will decrease from approximately $ 2.5 billion to $ 1.5 billion, the government expects, though the oil subsidies remain steadied. In 2007, oil sales brought in about YR 1 trillion and, with a surge in the oil prices, domestic and external sales brought in about YR 1.5 trillion. In the next two years, oil contribution to the public budget decreased much, but gas compensated this decrease by about $ 1 billion. The government expects gas will further contribute to the state budget amid a continuous oil decline.
