Twenty-four of those elements have surrendered to security apparatuses after operations carried out b security to clear the city of old Saada from those sleeper terrorist cells. Security sources have earlier told Almotamar.net that Central Security forces and units from the army started on Monday a large-scale operation for clearing the city of Saada, north Yemen , from terrorist elements taking shelter in mosques and citizens’ houses. The sources told Almotamar.net that the operation resulted in the killing of many terrorist elements and 25 of them surrendered t armed forces men. In Harf Sufyan axis armed forces men destroyed four vehicles belonging to the terrorists in Ayan Valley. Meanwhile, armed forces men repelled infiltration attempts by terrorist elements in a number of the areas from which they were defeated and were forced to flee.Local sources also mentioned that armed forces and security destroyed rebels’ car carrying weapons and terrorist elements at Thueib junction. they destroyed a hideout for terrorists in Al-Jaraeb area , many of those elements were killed or wounded and many of their armour was destroyed in clashes with armed forces and security men in Al-Khazan Mountain , Al-Mudawara and Thueib heights as well as the destruction of many of their positions in Al-Mahathir and Al Ammar.
