Abdul Karim Ismail Arhabi Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Planning and HE Yousef Hussein Kamal, Minister of Finance in charge of Ministry of Economy and Trade signed on Monday,

 in the Qatari capital Doha a memorandum of understanding on the establishment of the Qatar Foundation for Development (QFD)in Yemen to support economic and social development in Yemen with capital of $ 500 million.
 
The Qatari Finance Minister said that the establishment of QFD came under directives of Sheikh Hamad Bin Khalifa Al-Thani, Emir of State of Qatar.
 
He pointed out that it was agreed on implementation of good medical city project at a cost of 200 million dollars, noting that this project is considered as first action by QFD in Yemen as Foundation to consider implementation of other projects respectively.
