The incident   resulted in the death of  the Director-General of the Security of  Wadi Hadhramout  and Sahraa, Brigadier General Ali Salem al-Amri,  Brigadier General Ahmed Abu-bakar  Bawazir director of political security and  their escorts. In an interview with  Radio Seiyoun the Governor  insisted  that he is  sure,  the security concerned  will do their  best and given all the   possibilities to look for apprehend   the perpetrators of this terrorist incident and arrest them and bring them to justice so that they can be punished. he also touched on  the selection of Tarim being  the capital of Islamic culture  2010 comes with the  city's position and the leading role it played   tha was valuable in publisizing the call of Islamic teaching , adding that this choice is in the interest of  nation and it concerns all Yemeni as  a whole and not   only Tarim Yemeni or hadhramaut  .
