http://www.english.hadhramaut.info Fast processors to implement the maritime port of Mukalla [The Source: - 12/11/2009] Hadramout Undersecretay  Mr.Junaid Ahmed Junaid in the presence of the Provincial  Undersecretary for Technical Affairs  Mr.Fahd Saeed Menhali , today in Mukalla chaired a meeting that included officials from the Fisheries, the Office of Legal Affairs, Port Cities Development Program,  Foundation of the Arabian Sea ports of Yemen,  Union  fish Cooperative Society , Fishing boats  associations  and project facilitators. The meeting was devoted to oversee  the procedures and remedies taken by the local authority in the Province  and  the concerned  authorities  about  the Elimination of barriers to the establishment of the maritime port of Mukalla  which will be  implemented by the Port Cities Development Program at a cost of $ 12 million  and funded  by  the World Bank.The meeting adopted a number of actions and fast processors, such  as inventory  and  transfer of cooler steamers  and  old boats that are anchored off the port of Mukalla. Also to clean the site around the port   of all the waste and pieces of  crumbling old sailing boats based in the port basin and to find alternative sites for the traditional fishermen in a maximum  of ten days.
