http://www.english.hadhramaut.info SCER reviews reports on approved candidates [The Source: www.sabanews.net - 09/11/2009] The Supreme Commission for Elections and Referendum (SCER) reviewed on Monday reports submitted by the primary committees over the accepted candidates to fill the vacant parliamentary seats in the elections set to take place on Dec. 3. According to the report, the number of candidates accepted has reached 54 while the SCER assigned the legal affairs and technical sectors to receive minutes and decisions of the primary committees with regards to the candidates and to check the candidates' files according the legal procedures. It also assigned communication and follow-up committee to follow the supervising and primary committees and to quickly submit minutes and decisions of the primary committees as well as the candidates' files. The commission discussed work process of the supervising and primary committees and the process of receiving withdrawal requests.
