http://www.english.hadhramaut.info World Population Day celebrated in Hadramout [The Source: Hadhramaut.info - 12/07/2007]  Hadramout’s branch of the National Committee for Women has organized in corporation with the United Nations Population Fund- UNFPA- a ceremonial and musical concert to celebrate the World Population Day. In the ceremony, which was attended by leaders of the non- government organization and a huge number of people,Mr.Omer Bawazeer,head of Services Committee in the local council, has highlighted the great efforts for spreading awareness on reproductive health and family planning.  Two letters were given in the ceremony. One is on behalf of   Secretary –General of the United Nations, Mr. Ban Ki-moon, and the other from Ms.Thuria Ahmed, the executive manager of UNFPA. The audience enjoyed watching many musical and comic programs calling for paying attention to family planning and mother health care.
