http://www.english.hadhramaut.info WB's delegation inspects Mukalla sanitation project [The Source: www.sabanews.net - 04/11/2009] A delegation of World Bank (WB) headed by Official Water Projects in the Middle East Richard Buller paid on Wednesday an inspection visit to the water and sanitation project of Mukalla and Ghail Ba-Wazir. The project is financed by a WB's loan of US $ 44 million, which covers 80 percent of the project's cost and the rest 20 by a governmental finance.During the visit, the delegation was briefed on the current situation of the sewage treatment plants in Ghail Ba-Wazir and al-Dis and Pump and lift stations in addition to the main station of sewage disposal in Mukalla city.The delegation got acquainted with the project's components, the implementation timeframe and the problems emerged due to some changes in the engineering designs of the project.
