http://www.english.hadhramaut.info Talks on the mechanism to give sons of Saah districts 50% of working contracts and employment [The Source: Saah/hadhramaut.info - 31/10/2009] Discussions were held this morning  in Saah District consisting of Mr.Mohammed Omar Al-Jabri Director General, Head of the District  Local Council,  Jumaan  saalmin  Ba-rabaa  Wadi  and Sahraa Director General of the Office of the Ministry of Petroleum, Ya-qoub  Omar Ba-yaqhob Director of the Office of the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor in the Wadi And Sahraa, Dr. Awadh  Salim  Bawazir - Member of the House of Representatives, Omar Bin Salem Haiman coordinator of the  District local council  in Wadi Hadhramout and Sahara  - the local council member,   Zamaan Am-nieb , head of sustainable development at Total Yemen and Hatem  Al-shammali Director of personnel at the development of entrepreneurship in the sector (10) Saah.  The meeting was dedicated  to discuss and implement a mechanism whereby the sons of the District  will be given  nearly 50% of working  contracts and employment in  sub-contractors   working in the area in accordance with the directives of His Excellency the President of the Republic, The meeting acknowledged to open a branch office of the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs in the district   with the task of overseeing the implementation of such a mechanism.It also  also instructed by the Director of the Office of Social Affairs and Labor fpr the Wadi and the desert  to do some field visit  to  the  sites of oil companies and oversee  the employment contracts and  its compliance with  the upper limit of the Wages Act. Also  to  supervise  the nutrition programs for  the employees in the workplace . The patiicipants have formed  formed a committee from the  local council and as well as from  the Wadi and desert - Office of the Ministry of Oil i  and the Office of Social Social services  to oversee the recruitment process until the opening of an office of  of the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs branch in the  Districe. The gathering   assigned tto  Yemen Total company operating in the sector (10) within the District  to inform the contracting companies that there is a   need to handover any sub-requests with regard to employment and working contracts should be given   to the Office of Social Affairs and Labor  in  Wadi Hadramout -Sahraa
