http://www.english.hadhramaut.info 167 tourist facilities in Hadramout [The Source: Saeed Awadh - 20/02/2007] The number of the tourist facilties in Hadramout for  the last year has reached 167 facitiy;151 hotel and beach cabins ,46 toursit agencies ,11 wedding palaces and 6 toursit transportation offices  said Mr.Fadhel Ben Al-Sheikh Ali, the General Manager of the office of the Ministry of Toursim in Hadramout. " There are  five toursit projects are being built now including five star hotels,dive centres and beach cabins"he added. According to Mr. Ben Al-Sheikh Ali,last year witnessed a consederable increase in the number of the foreign tourists as seven cruise arrived Mukalla carrying 1556 tourists  who the governorate. About the offices future plans, Mr. Ben Al-Sheikh Ali said that the office has prepared a thorough plan pinpointed the the most attracted places like the natural therapy place of Des Alshargaih and Hami as well as the long coast of Hadhramput . The Manager concluded his statement to Saba News by saying "the Office has a scheme to built three  new water cannels(Khaours)in Ambihkah,Roukab and Foluk which will jump-start the tourism in the governorate".
