http://www.english.hadhramaut.info Yemen parliament delegation heads to Morocco [The Source: /www.sabanews.net - 11/10/2009] A Yemeni parliamentary delegation led by head of the Complaint Committee in Parliament Mohammed al-Saberi headed on Sunday to Morocco for the conference of the Arab Inter-Parliamentary Union. The conference will take place in Morocco's capital Rabat on 12-13 October. Upon departure, al-Saberi said the meeting will deal with issues related to the function of Arab Parliaments and hoped political, social and economic issues in the Arab World be tackled as well.Yemen seeks to activate the role of the Arab Inter-Parliamentary Union to play an active role in the interests of member states, he said, adding the Yemeni delegation will put forward proposals concerning the AIPU's regulations and programs.On the margin of the meeting, Yemen will attend a special course on the regulations and structural and organizational framework of the participating Arab Parliaments.
