Head of the commission Zaid Hajar was cited as saying that Al-Houthi was among the people who flocked to give blood for the soldiers hurt in confrontations with the Houthi rebels.
He did not only give blood, but also expressed his wish to join the commission, confirmed Hajar. Days ago Al-Houthi urged, in a letter that was published in the September 26 Weekly, the troops to continue the war against the rebels and the Yemeni people to take part in uprooting the insurgency. The Popular Support Commission was formed in late September to provide aid for the army during its battles with the rebels, through collecting blood quantities and organizing other aid materials.
