http://www.english.hadhramaut.info Reconstruction fund's activities in Mahrah discussed [The Source: sabanews.net - 04/10/2009] Mahrah Governor Ali Khawdam discussed here on Sunday with Director of Reconstruction Fund's branch for flood-affected areas in Mahrah governorate ,Jamal ba Zarah, the fund's activities in the governorate. The meeting dealt with the coordination areas between the local authority and the fund's administration to implement the fund's missions and its plan for disbursing the recompenses to the flood-affected people in the governorate especially in housing, agriculture and fish sectors. Technical committees have been formed to review the compensations in those sectors in preparation for paying them, ba Zarah made it clear.He indicated that the first payment of the partial recompenses, YR70.890 million, was paid for 156 cases, while the remnant of payment, YR 219.981 million would be paid during the coming days to 600 cases.In the meeting, Khawdam directed the fund to speed paying the rest of the first payment for the affected people, affirming the local authority's readiness to offer all facilities to succeed the fund's work and solving all problems that may face its work.
