http://www.english.hadhramaut.info Yemen major rally warns against Israel Quds violation [The Source: sabanews.net - 03/10/2009] Tens of thousands of Yemeni people have rallied in Sana'a to condemn recent Israeli attempts to profane al-Quds.Israelis wanted to mark the Forgiveness Day on last Sunday and tried to break into al-Quds coinciding with the 9th anniversary of Al-Aqsa Intifada The gathering urged to take action to protect al-Quds from Judaism, digging operations and changing the marks of the city of Quds.The people warned against breaking into the mosque which could lead to a grieve escalation in the region.The Yemeni Pro-Palestine and Arab Popular Body urged to go on protests against continuous Israeli bids to break into al-Quds, saying in a statement distributed to Arab and Muslim governments as well as good forces worldwide there should be an effective and immediate move at international opinion bodies and official circles to stop Israel criminal attempts targeting al-Quds.The body also urged a hard work among civil society organizations to raise awareness about the danger of threats made to al-Quds.Scholars, leaders and concerned Arab and Muslims leagues and organizations should assume their responsibility towards what is happening in the occupied territories in Palestine, it said, calling at the same time on Palestinian factions to reconcile to be able to face plots and Israel arrogance.Moreover, Arab regimes normalizing with Israel should reconsider their ties with the Jewish state and strongly stand by issues concerned by their nations to face major obstacles, it concluded.
