The Qura'an Charitable Society was established in 1992 to be the first association in Yemen interested in the Holy Quran . its teaching , literally aducationally as well as publishing it. The Society has set programs and plans for each of its charitable Quranic projects

According to Mr. Fawzi Ali, Secretary General. in a statement to Hadhramout electronic network sites .. That the charity for teaching Holly Quran in Hadramout has done very well in many many projects and achieved its goal . These achievement made people accepts and come foward to learn theHolly Qura'an and send their children to workshops teaching it in mosques even supporting these Quran projects pointing out that hadhramaut branch supervises 22 Quranict educational centers. tha include 186 sittings for Memorization.attended by 1,500. The Society last took advantage of atudents summer vacation and set up 18 centersfor students to study Holy Quran in different coastal areas of Hadramaut, which benefited more than 2000 students. Stressing that during the first week of Ramadhan the society did the annual celebration in which 46 were honored.boys and girls. The celebration was held at Mosque of Omar Mosque in Mukalla.
