The goal is to secure and removal of landmines and explosives planted by rebel elements for hindering traffic in it. The source added that that the armed forces managed in the past hours managed to inflict heavy losses in lives and equipment on the rebel elements and destroyed a number of hideouts and positions of the rebels in more than one area and positions.The source clarified that armed forces dealt blows to targets of those elements in areas of Gharaba, Damaj, Al Rabie, Kasara, Souk al-Layl and Al-Arouse in Saada province. A position of the terrorists in Al-Malahidh was also destroyed and one of the rebellion leaders he terrorist Mohammed Abdul-Hamid in an exchange of fire in a market in Baqim district.He added that this coincided with military units' control over Baidha Taba and a number of positions north-west of the main line of Hard Sufyan-Saada in addition to destruction of rebels barricade and killing those manning it. The source said an infiltration attempt by rebels to the Red Mountain was repelled and heavy losses were inflicted on them and forced them to flee.
