In the opening session of the meeting, Mujawar highlighted importance of the meeting to review seriously conditions of the economic units in the public and mixed sectors in order to support the national economy and achieve goals of the development. Impacts of the global financial crisis require using all available resources affectively, he said. He indicated to the electoral platform of President Ali Abdullah Saleh which affirmed importance of modernizing the economic management and existence of strong economic infrastructure.Mujawar also called for tackling all faults in these units to improve their performance, wishing the meeting would come out with practical recommendations.He concluded by saying that the government would take these recommendations seriously.The three-day meeting aims at tackling faults in the economic units and knowing their needs, deputy chairman of Central Organization for Control and Auditing Mohammed Darhim.He reviewed efforts of the preparatory committee to prepare for the meeting by gathering information and databases related to the units of the economic sectors.
