Reconstruction Fund Abdullah Motafi announced Saturday.The first payment to citizens, whose houses partly damaged by the floods in coasts of Hadramout and Mahrah, would be paid next week, Motafi told Saba.He affirmed that the fund has made good progress in paying the first payment for the owners of the affected houses in Valley of Hadramout, which amounted to 90 percent and only Sah and Shibam cities are waiting. He stressed that the second payment are being paid currently in some areas of has Valley of Hadramout.Motafi indicated that the work is underway for finalizing paying the left payments of compensation of the owners of partly collapsed houses in the valley.On the other hand, Motafi chaired on Saturday in Mukalla city a meeting of the engineers and coordinators, who will reassess damages of the affected houses in the two provinces.They will assess the damage financially in order to pay the recompense directly to the houses' owners.In the meeting, Motafi reviewed a number of instructions should be taken in consideration when assessing damages.He urged the engineers to be accurate and honesty as they carry out their tasks and to reach the flood-affected citizens in the cities, villages, valleys and the far-off areas in the coast of Hadramout.
