http://www.english.hadhramaut.info Wedding of 34 bridegroom and his bride inTarim District [The Source: tarim/hadhramaout.info - 16/07/2009] Al-ghuraf zone in Tarim Disrict on Wednesday evening  collective wedding of  (34) bridegroom and thier bride at the expense of a good and charitable  Sheikh / Salem Bin Musallam Bin Ham Al- Ameri.Mr. Awadh Taysir Al-sheibah  - Chairman of the Committee on the facilitation of the festival, indicated that this is  the first mass marriage in the Al-ghuraf zone  and its  surroundings that and that the  objective of this initiative is to facilitate the marriage of  young people during the wedding of social solidarity and to  immunize these  young men  and protect them from deviation and moralas well as to  revival  the Deeds  ( Sunna ) of our Prohet Al- Mustafa  Mohammed (PBUH.). As pointed out by Mr. Ali Salem Al Ameri - representative of Mr. Ham stated  that The establishment of such a marriage is a translation of the directions of His Excellency the President of the Republic President Ali Abdullah Saleh to facilitate the marriage of youth and reduce the tide of dowries and luxury.  Praising the efforts and endeavors exerted by the people of Al-ghuraf  region and its surrounding   especially the core origional and basic  committee for   mass marriages ,  noting that the support of Sheikh Bin Ham for the groom comes from the contribution of   alleviating  the suffering of young people from high  costs of marriage, which has become a burden that  weigh heavily on young people. He  called the people to work hard in order to facilitate the cost of marriage and the fight against phenomena of spending more  in banquets and excessive dowry. As the time tonight  al-ghoraf  area will witness a big festival  a carnival dance (Al-shabwani ) as well local and traditional  performance given by a number  teams from the District of Tarim ,Seiyoun the  highlighted one will be : group from Seiyoun ( Eddat Haffat Seiyoun Wehadah Zone and  several other zones of city and its environs and Al-guraf Zone.  During this  festival the teams will go through all  the various  areas chanting and  echoing the popular songs as well as dancing the famous ( alshabwani ) dance Samar, followed by a gathering  at the general public square in the Zone  to perform the  Dan poems ,  recited by  by the best Al- shabwani performers and the Hadhrami Daan.
