This morning, at his office, the Governor of Hadramaut, Mr. Salem Ahmed Al-Khanbashi, oversaw the signing of an agreement for the construction, equipping, and furnishing of Buwaish Hospital in Mukalla. The project is funded by the Sheikh Abdullah Al-Nouri Charitable Society in the State of Kuwait and implemented by Al-Sabeel Foundation for Social Development in partnership with the Human Access Association.
The agreement was signed in the presence of the Deputy Governor of Hadramawt, Mr. Hassan Salem Al-Jilani. Representing the local authority was the Director General of the Ministry of Public Health and Population Office in the Hadramawt Coast, Dr. Mohammed Saleh Al-Jamhi. Representing the implementing organization was Mr. Ahmed Saad Al-Qumairi, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Al-Sabeel Foundation.

The project, which will benefit approximately 30,000 people, includes the construction, equipping, and furnishing of the general and obstetric emergency departments, a laboratory, a radiology department, and a main entrance. It also includes the provision of comprehensive medical equipment, a solar power system, and an ambulance. The hospital will occupy a total area of ​​899 square meters and will cost 1.6 million Saudi Riyals. The Governor of Hadramawt expressed his deep appreciation to the State of Kuwait, its leadership, government, and people, commending their generous and ongoing support for humanitarian and development projects in Hadramawt, particularly in the health sector. He emphasized that this project will be a significant addition to enhancing medical services provided to the residents of Mukalla and surrounding areas.

The meeting was attended by Mr. Awad Banbou, Executive Director of the Human Access Association; Dr. Maher bin Dahri, the Association's Public Relations Director; Eng. Mohammed Al-Hamid, Director of Programs and Projects at Al-Sabeel Foundation; and Eng. Nabil Bajri, the project's supervising engineer.
