Under the patronage of His Excellency Mr. Tariq Al-Akbari, Minister of Education, the Ministry of Education, represented by the Training and Qualification Sector, in partnership with the British Council and in coordination with the Ministry's office in the Hadhramaut Coast, held a ceremony to honor English language teachers and supervisors on the occasion of the conclusion of the "Education for Success" training program in the governorates of Hadhramaut, Marib, Shabwa, Al-Mahra, and Socotra.
At the ceremony, Mr. Amin Baabad, Director of the Ministry of Education's office in the Hadramawt Coast, delivered a speech in which he praised the positive partnership between the Ministry of Education and the British Council, which has resulted in a number of programs and courses targeting English language teachers and supervisors.
He pointed out the importance of the English language in our time, as it opens up broad horizons of knowledge and future opportunities, and supports communication and integration into the global community. He explained that the ministry office would spare no effort in building partnerships with organizations and entities that support education and promote the development of these skills, which will positively impact educational outcomes.
Dr. Omar Al-Tamimi, British Council Coordinator, also expressed his appreciation for the ministry leadership's attendance and participation in the ceremony. He explained that the program targeted 16 supervisors and teachers from the governorates of Hadhramaut, Marib, Shabwa, Al-Mahra, and Socotra. He noted that the program falls under the British Council's activities aimed at training English language teachers, which will positively impact educational outcomes. At the end of the ceremony, participation certificates were distributed to the program participants.
