During his visit to Al-Hami city, Mr. Mabkhout Mubarak bin Madhi, Governor of Hadramaut Governorate, accompanied by Engineer Fouad Obaid Akkad, a member of Parliament, conducted an inspection visit and inaugurated the 80-kilowatt solar energy project and delivered a modern ambulance to Al-Hami Model Hospital.

The event was attended by Dr. Ahmed Salem Basrih, Deputy Governor of Hadramawt for Administrative and Financial Affairs; Engineer Amin Barziq, Deputy Governor of Hadramawt for Technical Affairs; Dr. Mohammed Saleh Al-Jamhi, Director General of the Ministry of Public Health and Population Office in the Hadramawt Coast; Mr. Adel Ahmed Baakaba, Director General of Al-Shihr District; and Engineer Salem Habishan, Executive Director of the Abdullah Habishan Foundation for Development and Charitable Works. During the visit, the Governor of Hadramawt Governorate and his accompanying delegation inspected the project to complete the equipping, finishing, and construction of the outpatient clinics, expand the maternity ward, renovate the laboratory, build a laundry room for medical staff and patients, construct a storage facility, supply medical equipment, and rehabilitate the sewage system at Al-Hami Model Hospital. This project is being implemented by the late Abdullah Habishan Foundation for Humanitarian Works.

During the visit, they also listened to a briefing from the director of Al-Hami Model Hospital on the most pressing needs, the progress of work, the situation of the medical staff and healthcare workers, and the interventions of partners and donors to contribute to and improve the level of medical and treatment services at the hospital, ultimately benefiting patients and citizens of the city.

The Governor of Hadramawt Governorate and his delegation also visited the hospital's main operating room, where the Governor directed the appointment of a female obstetrician/gynecologist to handle cesarean sections. He emphasized the local authority's commitment to providing the necessary support to develop the health and treatment system at Al-Hami Hospital in the coming period. For his part, Dr. Mohammed Saleh Al-Jamhi expressed his delight at the visit of the Governor of Hadramawt Governorate to Al-Hami Hospital. He explained that the hospital provides medical and therapeutic services to patients in all health fields, including primary healthcare and its programs: reproductive health, child health, immunization, nutrition, and general emergency care.

He thanked the Abdul Aziz Al-Rashed Foundation, the Abdullah Habishan Foundation for Development and Charitable Works, and all partners and donors for their interventions in the health sector in Al-Hami, which serve the citizens and patients. Those present during the visit included: Mr. Omar Ali Bajabar, World Bank Coordinator and Director of Organizations at the Ministry of Public Health and Population Office in the Hadramawt Coast; Mr. Salem Mohammed Al-Gharabi, Director of the Health and Population Office in Al-Shihr District; Mr. Omar Abu Bakr, Director of the Local Authority in Al-Hami; Mr. Saeed Musbah Al-Bahsani, Director of Al-Hami Model Hospital; and a number of directors of service facilities and prominent figures from Al-Hami.
