the Assistant Undersecretary of Hadhramaut Governorate for Valley and Desert Affairs, Engineer Hisham Mohammed Al-Saidi, accompanied by the Director-General of Sayoun District, Khaled Saleh Balfas, inaugurated the art exhibition of handicrafts and creative educational tools, organized by the Deanship of the Girls' College at Sayoun University.
The Undersecretary, Al-Saidi, the Director-General of Balfas, and the University Secretary-General, Mudrik Al-Jabri, listened to an explanation from the Dean of the Girls' College, Dr. Murshid Al-Jarou, and the participating students about the exhibited educational tools, handicrafts, and locally made household items.
These items were creatively designed to facilitate the delivery of scientific information and understanding of curriculum lessons. In the presence of a number of deans of colleges at the university, the Undersecretary, Al-Saidi, noted that these exhibits demonstrated students' deep understanding of the content of the scientific curriculum and how to deliver scientific information in accessible ways using purely local tools. He praised the efforts that are helping school administrations overcome the current shortage of educational tools.
The opening ceremony was attended by the Director General of the Saba News Agency Office, Mr. Abdul Basit Baswitin, Mr. Sahel Habshi Abo Fotaim, Director of Educational Media, Technology and Central Laboratories at the Ministry of Education Office in Hadhramaut, and a number of university faculty members.
