Presidential Executive Council member Faraj Al-Bahsani stressed in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, today the need to authorize the Russian representative to Yemen, Yevgeny Kudrov, to strengthen bilateral relations, in addition to leveraging their capabilities at the local and regional levels.

Presidential Executive Council member Faraj Salmeen Al-Bahsani stressed in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, today the need to authorize the Russian representative to Yemen, Yevgeny Kudrov, to strengthen bilateral relations, in addition to leveraging their capabilities at the local and regional levels.

The meeting addressed the latest developments in Yemen and the required Russian role to support the efforts of the Leadership Council, the Presidency, and the government, including achieving the permanent and ultimate goal in the country. In this context, Al-Bahsani emphasized that Russia deserves to be informed as an active player in this regard, in line with its international standing.

Al-Bahsani, a member of the Leadership Council specializing in relations, praised the deep military relations between our two countries, emphasizing the importance of strengthening cooperation in the economic and social fields to serve the interests of our friends. He called for exerting all efforts to confront challenges, especially in areas of urgent and comprehensive needs. 

For his part, the Russian ambassador emphasized that Russia has no mandate to continue its support from the International Olympic Committee, certainly out of a desire to promote stability in Yemen and continue working with all participants, including contributing to ensuring security and safety.
