http://www.english.hadhramaut.info Omeir opens health units and irrigation facilities Al-qatn District [The Source: Al-qatn/hadhramaut.info - 09/07/2009] Under-secretary Hadhramaout province in charge of Wadi and Sahraa Mr. Omier Mbarak Omeir accompanied by AssistantUndersecretary Hadhramaut province for Wadi and Sahraa Affairs Mr. Fahad Salaah All-aajam today opened in Bin Nassir area Al-qatn District a health Unit costing 86 thousand dollars. The Fund came from the Social Development Fund of Al-Mukalla Branch. He was briefed by the director general of the Social Development Fund Mukalla Office, Engineer Mohamed Daylami explaining the components of the unit.  The Unit is composed of   four rooms equipped with medical equipment and supplies, also a reception that will receive daily cases and emergencies, as well as primary health care, that will give services to the people of the region and neighboring areas. The undersecretary and those accompanying him opened in Al-kharabah area al-qatn District,  flood protection project that will protect the area in future from floods. The project was funded by the Social Development Fund,   Funded by the Social Fund for Development, it aims at the rehabilitating the sewerage facilities in the flood region, where the channels were opened to discharge flood water, as well as the work of raising the Sandbags surrounding the area.  The cost of this project is 16 million and 500 thousand rails.The undersecretary for Hadhramaut in charge of Wadi and Sahraa Affairs was accompanied in his tour by Al-qatn Director-General Mabrouk Bin Swedan
