http://www.english.hadhramaut.info ALAIDEROOS inspects gas electric station project in Wadi Hadramout [The Source: Seyioun/hadhramaut.info - 03/07/2009] Minister of Oil and Minerals Amir Salem AL-aidarous today inspected   functioning structures in the first phase of construction of the power station gas card  in  the Hadramawt Valley 25 megawatts. He listened  to  explanations  from the officials about the project, which has a production capacity in its  second phase to 50 megawatts and  in the future will contribute to the promotion of electrical energy to parts of the valley.  France's Total will finance  the  gas station  associated  with  sector No. (10).  The Minister of Oil and Minerals was briefed  on the final stages of work going  on in  the station that supplied electricity from the gas pipeline starting from the associated gas of diameter (8) inches to the treatment plant sector No. (10) of the French company Total and technical operations. The use of associated gas in generating electricity through the increase of temperature and filtration of liquid and solid materials and the end of the extension of the  gas  to the four  turbine that   belong to the Ministry of Electricity within the  agreement  the Total company  agreed to  Al-aideroos stressed on  the need  for the company  attention , in particular, with  local areas  employment from area that fall within the scope of its sector .Also to give priority to the contractors in the areas close to the implementation of small business that are undertaken  by the company in accordance with technical specifications and  controls.
