Transport Minister phones Comorian Vice President

Minister of Transport Khalid al-Wazir phoned on Tuesday the Comorian Vice President for Transportation Idi Nadhoim
consoling him on the victims of the Yemenia airplane crash. The two officials discussed the coordination regarding searching for survivors and rescue operations and current investigations on the accident.Al-Wazir thanked Nadhoim for the good cooperation and facilities presented by the Comorian government in procedures of researching and rescuing.Early on Tuesday, a Yemeni airplane of the National Yemenia Airlines crashed into the Indian Ocean near the Republic of Comoros. It was carrying 153 passengers including three infants and a crew of 11 members.Initial reports have blamed the accident on bad weather when the Yemeni airliner crashed near the port of Moroni, the capital of the Comoros Republic.One survivor has been found so far, as search for any survivors is underway.The Yemeni authorities said that 54 of the passengers Comorian, 26 French, a Palestinian, and a Canadian as well as a crew of 11 including six Yemenis, two Moroccans, an Indonesian, an Ethiopian and a Philippine
