http://www.english.hadhramaut.info Undersecretary Technical Affairs - Hadhramaut praise level of achievement in road projects [The Source: al-mukalla/hadhramaut.info - 16/06/2009] The Percentage of work completed on main roads and streets in Mukalla District has reached  60%. These are streets and roads  in areas  such Al- ruweinat - Joul Mas-ha - Rukub  -Sixtieth Street and Wadi  Fuluk in  Mukalla,  length of this Road is 9.75 kilometers and total cost amounted to 486 billion and 978 million and 463 riyals , its  government-funded, and the   remainder of the project left  is for bridges and ferries.  During his inspection tour to the project sites today Undersecretary for Technical Affairs Eng. -Fahad Saeed Al- Menhali     paid tribute to the company  working on the project and the efforts of the contractor Al-wadiah institution's efforts to complete the  project in  the time required . During his tour the Undersecretary   heard from the engineers, concerned in the Office of the Ministry of Public Works and roads to their proposals for amending the obstacle course through the Al-uyuun - Abdullah Ghraib Hills. The proposal is  from the Indian company working there , the road  suffered greatly from the rains and floods in happened in the  province in the month of  in October last year. Stressing   on that, the route should go along the mountain so as not to collapse in future due to rains and floods. He was accompanied in this visit by eng., Director-General of the Ministry of Public Works in the Province Mr.  Mubarak  Mutaafi ,   Projects director in   the Province Mr. Mohammed Alamoudi , Drector of economic development and preservation  in the province Mr. Ahmed Al-haddad  , and Director of the Department of Road Projects Office of the Ministry of Works Saeed Aa-tef and other concerned  engineers
