The National Committee to Investigate Human Rights Violations Allegations (NCIHRVA) carried out Wednesday workshop discussion via internet with ambassadors and representatives of diplomatic missions to Yemen discussing the eighth regular report made during 1 August 2019- 31 July 2020.

The workshop aimed at presenting the most important activities of the committee in investigating allegations included in the report.

In the opening ceremony, the Head of NCIHRVA Judge Ahmad al-Miflihi welcomed ambassadors and representatives of diplomatic missions of a number of countries to Yemen, clarifying that this report coincides with military, security and health developments in Yemen.

He added that these developments affected badly human rights situations in the country, a matter made the committee to double efforts for reaching the victims and areas witnessed violations.

The committee presented a show on the report's points, results of investigating violations committed by all parties and recommendations made for limiting violations and boosting human rights in Yemen.

For their part, the diplomats praised efforts of the committee for activating the accountability principle and made some questions on the committee's activities and cooperation with other international bodies working in investigating violations.
The committee released its eight report on 30 August 2020.
