http://www.english.hadhramaut.info Saah District witness 90 million worth of project [The Source: saah/hadhramaut.info - 10/06/2009] Saah District witnessed the implementation of   a number of projects and service, which comes within the framework of the efforts made by the local authority to raise the level of services that provided to citizens, with the completion of some projects while other are in  process of being completed. In a statement to Hadhramaut province websites Mr. Said  Yamani al-Jabiri, the Chairman of the Planning  and financial Commission in Saah local council  said that the cost of  the projects under implementation into he Districts , are  costing  more than ninety million  rials,  funded by  the local council and the World Bank  With the completion  Al-khamerah girls school building  which consits of six classrooms and its amenities  at a  cost of  35 million riyals, the project is being implemented by  basic education and funded by the World Bank as well  as Contribution from   community..  Al-Gabri, added: "With regard to projects that are  financed by the local council in the District in the town centre,  work is in progress in  the health unit project at a  cost of  8 million  Rials and the percentage of work done is   80%, while the percentage , the other project is Al-qadisya Club costing  and completion in it has reached  60%,  costing about 12 million rials, also civil registry building is on construction and work done is  almost  70% ,  at a cost of 12 million rials, and in  Gheil Omar areas  work  continuous on a  health center building , that will benefit  nearly seven thousand members, where the percentage of  project  completion  is about 50%, costing amounts is  25 million rials. " He ended  his statement  the Chairman of the financial and  Planning Commission   appealed  to the authority concerned  with Wadi and Sahraa to work on what has been destroyed by the flood disaster in terms of the Electricity  and power that affected more than four hundred  wall erected  lamps units   and a number of double  power polls as well as  single ones on the main street.. Meanwhile, at the moment work is going on a project to complete the streets lighting of Saah city and its suburbs, whereby the installation of approximately 400 walls erected lamps and 170 single street power polls of about 50 double ones. .
